Reassuringly BPA Free

Reassuringly BPA Free

Bisphenol A, or BPA. Have you heard of it? It’s an industrial chemical commonly used in the lining of plastic food packages and water bottles, designed to extend shelf life. It also appears in non-food packaging. There are concerns that BPA can leach from plastic containers into the air, skin, or surfaces, potentially exposing you to harmful chemicals, which have been linked to health issues like hormone disruption and reproductive problems.

Not only that, BPA is a persistent pollutant in the environment, causing contamination in water and soil and thus affecting wildlife. And cleaning products that come in plastic containers containing BPA may, over time, release harmful compounds into your home.

With all of that in mind, we just want to reassure you that none of Koala Eco’s recycled and recyclable bottles contain BPA because they are all made from rPET, a recycled and recyclable plastic or glass. We lobbied the big packaging companies really hard to achieve this because we know that when you choose our products for their environmentally friendly credentials and cleaning power, you expect them to be safe and non-toxic: inside and out.
