Nourish your psyche

Nourish your psyche

Let a daily dose of nature strengthen you in 2026

How do you imagine your 2026 will be? What do you want it to be? Need it to be?

Set aside for a moment the things maybe we all dream of—peace in areas torn by war, solutions to economic and gender-based inequity, real and significant action on climate change—and focus in on your personal hopes. The hopes or actions you can control, that you can do to care for yourself.

Could they include a pledge to take at least 20 minutes a day to connect with nature? Even for the busiest among us, just 20 minutes is not impossible, and if the time can stretch to more, let it. Walk, swim, lie on the grass, listen to birdsong. Look at the stars.

Take a photo of the sky, each day. Be outside when you do it. The quality of the photo doesn’t matter as much as the attention you pay to what the clouds are doing, what direction the wind is coming from, how much a sunrise differs from an early afternoon sky, what constellations are dominant in your part of the world.

Small and simple everyday things are what we need to nourish our psyches and support us. With nature as our daily medicine, we can be fortified for what lies ahead: the joys as well as the challenges. May 2026 be fulfilling for you.

And all of us at Koala Eco wish you a really positive and peaceful start to the New Year.
