Are soap fragrances environmentally friendly?

It completely depends on whether the fragrances are natural or synthetic. So many cleaners and soaps promise to smell ‘naturally’ fresh and lemony while killing germs, yet what is this chemical listed in the ingredients? And is that lemon fragrance really natural? Or is it made from petroleum-based ingredients, like so many other so-called ‘natural’ fragrances.

At Koala Eco, a family-owned company making products for a clean home, body and mind, we can absolutely guarantee our fragrances are environmentally friendly and natural, because they come from nature in the first place.

We use locally-sourced, 100% pure essential oils from native botanicals like Lemon Myrtle and Rosalina in our products, which when combined with plant based ingredients and sugar-based biodegradable alcohol are great alternatives to caustic cleaning products. Our products are independently certified as toxic-free by Safe Cosmetics Australia Toxic-Free, independently certified by Safe Cosmetics Australia Made Safe, Australian Allergy Certified, again conforming to Safe Cosmetics Australia, and Vegan Australia Certified standards.

So when you use any of our products, you are breathing in the pure scent of these botanicals: nothing else. And the planet has nothing to fear because our range is non-toxic, vegan, septic safe, and non-allergenic. We don’t use any dyes, masking agents, synthetic perfumes, chlorine, bleach, sodium laurel sulfates or phosphates. Our products are also cruelty-free: nothing we make is or ever will be tested on animals.
